Description

Why patent and why now — The lacquered finish is the most reflective surface in the Bakero range, so Mina photographs well, lifts a plain outfit instantly, and reads dressed-up without needing jewellery. The leopard tip is the whole point: it says I dressed up without saying I tried hard.

Styling — Day: Camel or Black under a wide-leg trouser or midi, patent adds polish to a flat uniform. Night: the pointed toe works with a slip dress, tailored jumpsuit or black denim. Beige is the most versatile, Marron the most dramatic.

Fit — Pointed toe runs narrow at the front — if you’re between sizes or have a wide forefoot, take the larger size. Care: patent leather marks easily; buff with a soft dry cloth and keep away from rain.
